MU-ADEPT training includes several components; the requirement of each is specific to training context - school, department, agency, etc. Learners will complete the online training for academic coursework, medical education (CME or CEUs), or as part of SBIRT implementation in various clinical settings. In each case, online Core SBIRT Training is essential and is step one. This training is designed to be completed in about 2 hours but can vary with learning style.

Step #4 below generally applies specifically to UM medical residents and medical students, but is encouraged for all trainees in their respective environments. Resources and Training Materials (ADEPT/SBIRT Pocket Card, role play and simulation scenarios for adult and adolescent patient situations, etc.) are available for download and sharing by clicking their corresponding tabs at the top of the page.
